Iles Diver is owned & run by Tony Iles.   He has over 30 years experience & over 7,000 logged dives throughout the world!

 
   

 

TONY ILES

PADI Master Instructor MI 83317

Head of RYA training / service technician

Tony is a PADI Master Instructor who started diving in 1983 and started teaching in 1988, initially for his local Sub Aqua Association club.  After moving up the ranks in SAA he decided to swap to Brighton BSAC and then to PADI in 1993.  Previously employed at Blue Smartie Diving in Shoreham, he decided to set up Iles World of Diving in 1997 with a friend, who later left. Prior to teaching professionally Tony was a youth worker for some years where he indulged his passion of canoeing, a qualified motor mechanic, a building site agent & a commercial diver/skipper working on M.S. Manly in the Channel.   He is also a RYA Powerboat Instructor, teaching to Advanced level, RYA VHF Radio Instructor & Emergency First Response Instructor.  

 

Tony has now handed over all of the diving tuition to Graeme and concentrates on his role as centre equipment servicing technician, skippering the RIB and teaching RYA Powerboat, VHF courses & First Aid courses.

GRAEME PACE

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer 629407

Graeme learnt to dive in Northampton in 2000 after being inspired as a youngster watching Jacques Cousteau on TV. After moving from Northamptonshire to Kent in 2002, Graeme joined Iles World of Diving in 2003 where he qualified as a Divemaster and Assistant Instructor.

In July 2004, after completing his IDC with Iles World of Diving, he qualified as an Instructor at Stoney Cove.  In November of 2004 Graeme achieved the Emergency First Response Instructor rating. After gaining various Speciality Instructor Ratings Graeme is now a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

As well as diving in various parts of Britain, he has also dived the Red Sea, Great Barrier Reef, Sri Lanka, Cyprus, Crete, Mexico, Thailand

and the Med.

When not diving he is a Projects Manager for a large national developer. He is a keen sports fan, especially football, rugby, golf and cricket at which he is also a qualified Level 1 coach.

SUE BULL

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor 638320

Sue joined us at Rescue Diver level and has never looked back. Working her way up the ranks, she finally qualified as an instructor in October 2007.

Away from diving Sue is a swimming instructor and works as an accountant.
