| If you're aged between 8 and 11 years old and love water, then this course is for you! You may have even tried scuba diving in a pool before and really loved it - the PADI Seal Team is a fun way to carry on scuba diving in a swimming pool, whilst learning cool skills and earning membership of the Seals Team club. The course consists of some reading work and watching a video, then it's into the pool for your 5 AquaMissions. | |||||

The first bit of the course is reading the Seal Team activity book and watching the video. This part will explain some of the important theory stuff in order for you to start diving safely. You’ll meet the 5 Seal Team cartoon characters who you’ll get to know well and help you through this bit of the course. Next comes the fun part, your first AquaMission! If you’ve never tried scuba before, this will be your first breath underwater – you’ll be hooked! This first pool session includes the start of your journey of learning some exciting skills including equalising your ears due to pressure; reading your air gauge underwater and hand signals.
From there you progress to AquaMissions 2, 3 & 4, where you'll learn how to take the regulator out of your mouth and replace it; clear your mask of water; learn how to be weightless just like an astronaut; learn some snorkelling skills - great for when you go on holiday and you can show your Mum & Dad how it's done properly!! |

When you’ve completed the 5 pool sessions and theory work, you are then an official Seal Team member! You will then receive your certificate and membership card. How much does it cost?
This is the bit that Mum & Dad will want to know! The cost of the course is £150 fully inclusive. That means that you receive all your learning materials in a ‘crew pack’, including the activity book, video, logbook, certificate, membership card and sticker. It also includes full use of equipment especially designed for young divers in mind, and all tuition from one of our highly qualified professional instructors. To help with the cost, you can spread payments over the 5 pool sessions. When can I do it? Pool sessions are held in Lancing in our long heated swimming pool. These sessions last for 1 hour each. You will need to complete the theory work at home prior to your first pool session. Please contact us for more details. |
